In 1282, Obrnice was donated to the Ossetian Cistercian monastery. The Cistercians were very hardworking, they were pioneers in mining and metallurgy. They participated in the development of agriculture and established vineyards. The most famous Osecka vineyard was founded on the southeastern slope of the Keřové vrch above Obrnicemi.
