The construction of the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary was started in 1517 on the site of an older church which, together with the town, fell victim to a fire. Construction lasted a hundred years until the beginning of the 17th century. The church is world-famous for its unique event, which is recorded in the Guies book of records. When the old town of Most was liquidated due to coal mining, this rare Gothic building was moved by 1975 m to another location in 41,1. Again…
