Opočno-lock
Opočno is mentioned in Kosm's Chronicle of the Czech Republic in 1068 as a princely castle, protecting the rebellious participants of the Diet in Dobenín. There are no reliable reports about the foundation of the castle and its history until 1350. In 1350, Mutin Drslavic from Dobruška is listed as the owner of the manor castle on the headland above Zlatý potok, his descendants later also used the surname from Opočno.
