Opočno - a castle and a beautiful walnut tree

The grounds of the Opočen Castle, surrounded by a natural landscape park, are a unique collection of monuments and nature that demonstrate the way of life of Czech society over the course of five centuries. Due to its historical and artistic value, historical interiors with rich collections of paintings and weapons, the Opočen castle was declared a national cultural monument.
