Opočno - Church of the Virgin Mary

The church is located in the area of ​​the old cemetery. The original parish wooden church is documented on the site as early as 1361. The current church building with pseudo-Renaissance furnishings and valuable artistic decoration of the interior plasters and windows was built by the builder Zohorna in 1810. The purpose of the building was to build the tomb of the Colloredo-Manssfelds, which is located in the basement. The cemetery was closed in 1881.
