When we were in the neighboring town of Lázně Toušeň, we spotted an interesting building from the footbridge upstream of the Elbe River on the opposite bank. At first glance, it was obvious that it was something historical. We had time, so we went there to see. The village of Káraný is located about 28 km northeast of the center of Prague on the right bank of the Elbe and the left bank of the Jizera, only about 2 km from their confluence. It is…
