Lake Between Bridges

Lake Mezi Mosty is located between the villages of Čelákovice and Lázně Toušeň. This is a sand pit with excellent clean water. The beach for swimming is just below the dike, between the sandpit and the Elbe, it is sandy, sometimes pebbly. The Mezi Mosty sandpit is shared by swimmers, fishermen, nudists and, to a lesser extent, workers. A kiosk comes here on weekends when the weather is nice. The entire south with its romantic bays is leased to fishermen. Their tents and caravans stand here, the large southeast bay is the domain of nudists. Swimming is not allowed on the left bank. You can leave your car in Toušna in the parking lot in front of the spa or on the banks of the Elbe, opposite the confluence with the Jizera. You can park anywhere in Čelákovice.
