The newly built Tyrš bridge in Přerov

In 1903, one of the first concrete bridges in Bohemia and Moravia was built in Přerov. It was a concrete road bridge with a span of 21 meters. The bridge served its purpose until May 8, 1945, when the German army blew it up during the retreat. After liberation, the bridge was not fully restored. The stone pillars on which a steel footbridge was placed in 1964 have been preserved.
