An inconspicuous pond has been beautifying the eastern foot of Křížová hora (near Červená Vody) for some time now. It is a waterworks of a more recent date. The pond with dimensions of approx. 100 x 50 m (irregular oval) can be seen here since 2007, i.e. it is similarly old as the observation tower on the hill above the pond.
The pond has anti-flood and irrigation functions, it is not a public fishing ground, but some small fish can be found in the water.…
