Plague column in Sokolov

The Plague, also known as the Marian column, on the Old Square in Sokolov was built in 1701 and its contractor was Vilém Felsner, a stonemason from Cheb, on the basis of a contract signed on April 2, 1699. The column has a square base with plinths on which statues of four saints are placed: St. Jacob the Greater, St. Anthony of Padua, St. Florian and St. Jan Nepomucký.
