The village of Mokrosuky is located in the Klatovy district about 7 km northwest of Sušice at an altitude of 530 m.
From the 14th century, the village belonged to the estate of Velhartice Castle, later also to Hrádek and Kolinc. In the 16th century, Mokrosuki became the center of a large estate, which was gradually replaced by a number of owners. In the 17th century, Mokrosuky became part of the estate of nearby Hrádek.
