City rocks

The rock formation extending into the region is part of the Hanušovská Highlands in the northern surroundings of Šumperk. It got its name from the fact that it is located near the town and that the summit ridge is divided into a system of cliffs and towers, which are mainly made of light-colored pegmatite rock, then of quartz, mica and feldspar, in some places passing into Schist gneiss and phyllite.
