Šumperk - a quarry in the city forest

A large, no longer used quarry in the urban forest, easily accessible from the green TZ (or yellow via Kokeš) from Tulinka near Šumperk. Prominent walls over 20m high form a semicircular to horseshoe-shaped mining area. Amphibolite gneiss was mined in the quarry for construction purposes. Pegmatite veins in rock.
