The town of Vsetin
In the valley of the Vsetínská Bečva, surrounded by the Vsetínské, Hostýnské and Vizovicky hills, lies the town of Vsetín, considered the heart of Wallachia. The first written mention dates from 1308 - at that time, the present-day Horní Město with its spacious square grew on the slope above the right bank of the river. In 1396, for the first time, discovered the name Wsetin.
Today, Vsetín is not only the natural center of the area, but also an important tourist destination.
