The area of the castle park in Vsetín
On the southern slope below the castle and the bridge over the Bečva river is the Vsetín castle park with an area of 1,75 ha. There used to be a baroque garden here, which was converted into a park in 1773. The manor garden, as a vegetable garden and a fruit park, was transformed into a public park at the beginning of the 20th century, mainly in 1949 the pond was restored, paths were also improved, lawns were established and new trees and bushes were planted...
