The town of Krupka and two churches
The town of Krupka, which begins in the valley east of the castle and continues north into the mountains, owes its origin to the mining of tin ores in the surrounding Ore Mountains. But the beginnings of tin mining around Krupka are shrouded in mystery. The boom in mining and its further processing took place at the end of the 13th century, and therefore, thanks to the prosperity of the mines, a town of its own quickly developed.
