The town of Krupka and Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

During his stays in the Teplice spa, the famous German poet and playwright Johann Wolfgang von Goethe also visited Krupka. And he visited the ruins of the local castle.
It was first noted on August 17, 1810 that the collapse of the tower occurred because it served as a source of stone for the surrounding construction.
He visited here for the second time in 1813, twice, on April 29 and May 14.
In memory of Goethe's stay…
