The city of Hlinsko

The town of Hlinsko lies at the border of the beautiful nature of the Iron Mountains and the Žďárské vrchy at an altitude of almost 600 m. Thanks to its rounded hills, extensive forests and meadows, Hlinsko and the surrounding area are an ideal starting point for trips by bike, on foot or on skis.
The name of the city is derived from the legend that potters founded the city in an area rich in deposits of fine clay.
