Hlinsko - the gateway to the land of traditions
Hlinsko stretches on the border of the beautiful nature of the Iron Mountains and the Žďárské vrchy. The name of the city is derived from the legend that the city was founded by potters, because there were rich deposits of excellent clay in its vicinity. Hlinsko currently has less than 10 inhabitants. The history of the city, through which the Chrudimka River flows, dates back to the 14th century.
