Markvarec
The village of Markvarec is located approx. 2 km north of Český Rudolce in the Javořická vrchovina. There are 63 residential houses in the village and the solitude of Špryclův mlýn also belongs to it. Markvarec is first mentioned in 1353, when Jan from Rudolka donated the manor in Markvarec to his brother Pešík. In 1638, Markvarec was added to the Dačice estate.
