Next to the Fountain, on Masaryk Square, stands the Baroque Marian Column, which is the work of the České Budějovice stonemason Leopold Huber. In 1780, a statue of the Virgin Mary was made on a slender pyramid, which rests on a massive triangular plinth with statues of St. Joseph, St. Vojtěch and St. Elizabeth.
