In Mariánské Lázně, an Anglican church stands on the slope between the gymnasium buildings and the Mariánské Lázně town hall. The building made of red sharp-burnt unplastered bricks is the work of the London architect William Burges and was built according to his plans by the builder Friedrich Zickler in 1879.
