The starting point is the city of Lomnice nad Popelkou. The oldest mention can be found in Dalimil's chronicle from 1232. The city offers many cultural and sports activities. The highest peak in Lomnicka is Mount Tábor (678 meters above sea level) with the Tichánk lookout.
