Lomnice nad Popelkou - castle

The castle in Lomnica nad Popelkou was built by Valdštejny in the 16th century on the site of a fortress that was already mentioned at the end of the 13th century. The Baroque reconstruction was carried out by the count family of Morzin in the years 1730-37. It is a three-wing storey building, the side wing, which is highlighted by a mansard roof, encloses the northern part of Husova náměstí.
