Kaolinka Quarry

The Kaolinka quarry is located about 1,7 km south of Vidnava. You can reach the quarry along the forest road, which is located on the left at the exit from Vidnava to Štachlovice. You can park right next to the quarry. It is one of the most beautiful quarries in the region, reminiscent of the romantic landscape of the Wild West. Kaolin used to be mined in the quarry, which is why the banks and surroundings are white, sometimes even the water. Kaolin is also said to have healing effects.
