Litomyšl - Na Máchadle spring

The spring is located in the city center in close proximity to Smetana Square on the way to the castle under the park with the statue of Alois Jirásek. Like other springs in the vicinity of the Loučná river, it springs from partially garnetized chalk marls. It has an impressively strong flow rate of around 5 l/s.
