Litomyšl - monument to Bedřich Smetana
The bronze monument of Bedřich Smetana, a native of Litomyšl, is located in the lower part of Smetanova náměstí towards the castle. The monument, whose author is Jan Štursa, was ceremoniously unveiled in 1924 on the occasion of the composer's hundredth birthday.
