Lipno's beaches offer sports and relaxation. The Lipenská dam has a grassy and sandy beach, boat rentals, a volleyball court, a netball court and a children's playground. Lipno's most popular beaches include Lipno nad Vltavou, Černá v Pošumaví, Horní Planá, Přední Výton, Frymburk and Dolní Vltavice. The beach in Černá v Pošumaví offers a toboggan, boat rentals, minigolf, a netball court, beach volleyball and a children's playground. During the season, accompanying attractions are also prepared for children. The location is suitable for yachting and windsurfing. On the surface you will meet cruise ships and quite possibly even a police motorboat. In addition to the sandy beaches, there are also grassy areas for sunbathing.
Cruises and shipping on Lake Lipno is provided in the high season 3 times a day regularly from Lipno nad Vltava (duration 1:45 h.) and Frymburk (duration 50 minutes) by boat with restaurant and observation decks. The ship's bar with refreshments is open during all cruises.
The Lipno waterworks plays a big role for water managers (it protects against floods) and energy companies, the power plant is located in an artificial underground cave built at a depth of 171 m. The power plant can be visited.
V Lipno Reservoir there are also several islands, the largest of which is Taiwan near Horní Planá, but the most visited and most popular is Králičí ostrov near Lipno nad Vltavou, where domestic rabbits have been planted and parents and children can go here to feed them.
