Lipník nad Bečvou is located in North Moravia, east of Olomouc. As the name of the city suggests, the river Bečva flows through it. Lipník lies under the southern peaks of the Oder Hills. To the southeast of the city, wooded hillsides rise, the highest of which is the Maleník peak (479 masl).
