An old heart-shaped linden tree stands near the church in Lomec. Signs on the tree inform that it was named Naděje and the date is 1750. Considering the size of the tree, the date could be the estimated year the tree was planted. We measured the circumference of the tree in August 2013 with a value of 764 cm. Although the sign on the tree says that it is a memorial tree, the protection of the tree in the sense of Act No. 114/1992 Coll. was not announced. However, that…
