Lesonice is a small village with 180 inhabitants and can be found south of Moravské Krumlov and on the southwestern edge of the Krumlov Forest. To the south of the village stretches the Lesonický forest. An interesting feature of the village is the maple alley, bordering the road leading from the eastern edge of the village in a northeasterly direction.
