Lednice - Valtice area - Colonnade Reistna

The colonnade, also called Reistna, was built under the direction of the Waltice builder Josef Poppelecký in the years 1810 - 1817. His model was the Schönbrunn Glorietta, which was built by Maria Theresia. The colonnade was built by John Joseph I in memory of his father Francis Joseph I and his brothers Alois and Filip, and at the same time as a celebration of family virtues.
