Between 1839 and 1841, the doctor Antonín Šlechta from Turnov founded the Sedmihorky spa under the seven heats, or heats. And the spa was famous. Not only Czech, but also German intellectual clientele came here. Among our famous writers, Karel Jaromír Erben (1811 - 1870), Eliška Krásnohorská (1847 - 1926), Jan Neruda (1834 - 1891), Svatopluk Čech (1846 - 1908) and others visited the spa.
