The Láz waterworks is located less than 1 km as the crow flies west of the village of Láz in a wooded valley in the Třemošenská vrchovina in Brdy. It is the first reservoir built on the Litavka River, which originates in this valley.
The reservoir was originally built between 1818 and 1822 as a reservoir of water needed for the Příbram mines and smelters, and currently serves as one of the drinking water reservoirs for the Příbram agglomeration. Original…
