The lower station of the cable car to Medvědín is located north of the center of Špindlerův Mlýn, on the way to the intersection U Dívčí lávky, at an altitude of 745 meters. The length of the four-seater cable car is 1950 meters, so it climbs 440 meters to the top of Medvědín. It is in operation all year round and can also be used by cyclists to transport bikes.
