Krompach
The predominantly recreational mountain village lies in a wider valley below Hvozd on the old trade route to Žitava. It was first mentioned in 1391 as a village with mills belonging to Milštejn, before 1549 it was known as a glassmaking settlement: Jiří Schürer founded a glassworks here, but after 1700 the smelter disappeared.
