Křemešník - Pípalka lookout tower

For the purpose of detailed mapping of our state, a wooden measuring tower was built here in the 30s, as Křemešník was chosen among the points of the basic trigonometric network of the then Czechoslovakia. In 1940, it was taken over by the city of Pelhřimov and, at considerable cost, with the help of the local KČT, it was converted into a publicly accessible lookout tower.
