Kouty - a ruined fortress in a romantic location

The ruins of the Kouty fortress can be found on an island surrounded by the waters of the Tvrzník pond. It is a romantic and interesting place at the same time.
The village of Kouty is located outside the main roads and there are not many tourists here. The village lies on the road connecting Votice with Smilkov. For pedestrians, the fortress is accessible by following the green sign leading from Votic to Smilkovo.
