Kouty nad Desnou is one of the most famous recreation centers in Jeseníky. The railway line from Šumperk via Petrov nad Desnou and the bus route from Šumperk to Jeseník lead here.
Vacationers go here in winter and summer. Kuty is located at the confluence of Hučivé Desná and Divoká Desná. Thanks to its location, there are many interesting places nearby, from nature to technical monuments.
