Kotelní jamy is a state nature reserve (101 ha) on the southeastern slopes of the Kotel (Kokrháč) mountain in the Giant Mountains. They are formed by the Velká and Malá kotelní jáma glacial cairns on the southern and southeastern slopes of Kotle. Located at an altitude of approximately 1050 to 1400 meters above sea level. The Big Boiler Pit was excavated in granite by a glacier, the Small one in a pile. The two pits are separated from each other by the rocky Liščí hříbín. In checkers…
