Kotel - observation tower
Vrch Kotel is part of the rugged Klabavská upland composed mainly of Ordovician folded shale with quartzite. At the top there used to be a wooden lookout tower (about a hundred years ago), which lasted only fourteen years. The new all-metal observation tower was built in 2014 and officially opened on 10.5.2014 May 28. The structure has the shape of a cylinder with a spiral staircase.
