Rokycany - Statue of St. John of Nepomuck

Baroque column with a statue of St. Jan of Nepomuck dates back to 1709. The inscription on the front shows that the column was built by a local burgher, Jan Roman Antonín Vodňanský, 20 years before the canonization of Jan of Nepomuck. Benedict XIII he declared him a saint on March 19, 1729 with the canonization bull Christus Dominus.
