Church of St. Mark, evangelists in Stěžery

According to folk tradition, a wooden chapel stood at this place in the center of Stěžer, and next to it there was also a belfry made of the same material, said to be in the Byzantine style. In 1350, the chapel was upgraded to a church and the first vicar was installed here, while the Abbotovic monastery had the right to serve until its destruction in 1421.
