The church of St. George was built on the newly built cemetery in the so-called St. George's suburb. It was probably consecrated in 1569. Although the church was built at the time of the rise of Renaissance art, it carries the spirit of the fading late Gothic style. The builder was Jan Honzar from Český Brod.
