The oldest report about the church in Holohlavy comes from 1357. In 1365, there is a mention of the foundation of the Holohlav church by Matěj from Černozý and Beneš from Holohlav. In 1380, a vicarage was founded here by Beneš from Holohlav and a chaplaincy in 1419 by Volkmar from Holohlav.
