Holohlavy - church of St. John the Baptist

Holohlavy - the village was first documented in writing in 1318 as the property of Pusta from Pardubice. At that time, it stood on the site of today's dean's garden, which was destroyed by the camp of 1425. The dominant feature of Holohlav is the originally Gothic Church of St. John the Baptist, commemorated in 1357. In 1584, it was renovated in the Renaissance style. Among the interior fittings, the pewter baptismal font from 1552 and the altar painting Baptism in the Jordan are worth mentioning...
