This temple was most likely built at the turn of the 13th and 14th centuries and was already a parish church then. The village itself with the fortress was first mentioned in 1318. In 1355, the brothers Jan and Vilém from Černice nominated priest Bernard as parish priest, who replaced the priest Dobřemil, who had resigned. According to popular tradition, the parsonage at the time stood on the site of a later school garden. In 1369, 6 groschi of papal money were taken from Černčice...
