Bohuslavice nad Metují - former fortress
According to archaeological finds, the former fortress in Bohuslavice is dated to the period of the 14th - 16th centuries. According to documented finds, there used to be a water fortress. However, there are no written documents about it. Today you can see the Statue of St. Jan Nepomucký. The area of the fortress is located on an island in the middle of the pond behind the pub, connected to the shore by a footbridge. However, in recent years the pond has been drained.
