Church of St. Jakub
In 1330, German patricians were at the origin of the church building, and the order of minters and pregeres, i.e. wealthy shareholders in the nearby mint in Vlašské dvor, probably also had an important say, whose wishes influenced the choice of the building site. The promontory near the Vlašské dvor soon proved to be so problematic that it did not allow the completion of the originally intended second tower. The main core of the building was completed around 1380…
