The village of Kostelec nad Orlicí, located between the well-known recreational water reservoir Pastviny and the Divoké Orlice gap in the so-called Zemská brana, can boast of an important sacral monument. The local church of the Holy Trinity did not lose its original Gothic appearance even in subsequent Renaissance and Baroque modifications, and from the point of view of preservationists, it is therefore a very valuable rural building.
